Freight Broker - Operations Intern (Summer 2026)

We’re looking for a Summer 2026 Operations Intern to join our team and get real, hands-on experience in freight brokerage and logistics operations. This is not a “sit in the corner and observe” role — you’ll be trusted with real responsibility and real impact.
What You’ll Do:
As part of our operations team, you’ll learn how freight moves across the country and play an active role in making it happen:
- Work directly with established customers to take freight orders
- Source and contract with motor carriers
- Negotiate freight rates
- Track shipments from pickup to delivery
- Anticipate and help resolve customer or carrier issues
- Learn how to think fast and problem-solve in a high-energy environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Current 4-year college student (May 2027 or December 2026 grads strongly preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks
- Comfortable adapting in a fast-paced setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Eager to learn and take initiative
- No transportation or logistics experience required
