Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher for Two-Year-Olds 

The Seven Hills School seeks a dynamic, innovative individual committed to teaching the whole child for a classroom assistant position in a two-year-old classroom.  The candidate should be eager to work in a collaborative, team-based environment with thoughtful, experienced colleagues who are committed to making learning engaging. 

Assistant teacher assists the primary classroom teacher with activities and learning exercises and daily care of the students, while helping to maintain a friendly, inclusive atmosphere for all students. Depending on the needs and class sizes, assistant teachers may take small groups of students aside for separate activities. This position also includes serving as an assistant in our morning care program as needed.

Qualifications 

All candidates must have: 

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, preferably in early childhood education
• Two or more years of experience working with young children
• Willingness to obtain all certifications required by the State of Ohio
