Your Goal

As an Engineering and Design Teacher, you will help students master problem-solving methods while fostering an appreciation for discipline, teamwork, and grit.

What You’ll Do (The Courses)

You will have the opportunity to lead students through up to five dynamic courses:

Introduction to Computer Graphics Design Technology

Engineering and Design Technology

Creative Design Technology

Introduction to Architectural Design Technology

Advanced Computer Graphics Technology

We value skills over years of experience. While we are looking for content knowledge and effective teaching strategies, we are excited to help you grow:

Core Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, subject matter expertise, and the ability to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Growth Opportunity: You do not need prior experience in robotics (programming, wiring, or mechanical design). We only ask that you have an interest in building these technical skills over time through our professional development programs.

Qualifications

Certification: Must hold a valid New Jersey Teacher of Technology Education (1810) Certification or Certificate of Eligibility.

Legal: Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Residency: Must be a New Jersey resident (or attain residency within one year).

Terms of Employment

Schedule: Full-time, 10-month position.

Benefits: This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement, ensuring structured performance evaluations and clear employment terms.
