Sales Associate

WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

A Sales Associate to support daily sales operations and customer service activities by ensuring accurate order processing, timely follow-up, and strong attention to detail.

What you’ll Do (Responsibilities) 

 As a Sales Associate, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Successfully locate and identify supply sources to fulfill customer requirements
  • Contacting sources to obtain quotes for price, condition, and availability for each requirement in addition to troubleshooting
  • Effective communication and maintaining a professional relationship with vendors customers, and colleagues
  • Resolve Non-conforming Materials (NCM), and always provide excellent customer service
  • Daily administrative work requiring high accuracy to input quotes and update the necessary information into Quantum ERP system
  • Process of daily Request for Quotes, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and arrangement of shipments
  • Drives for results and success; conveys a sense of urgency; pursues goals and works to achieve them
  • Demonstrate principled leadership and sound business ethics
  • Performs other duties as assigned 

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Must be a US person based on ITAR requirement
  • Military contracts and negotiation experience is a plus
  • Multilingual is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be computer savvy and learn company software program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to analyze a company’s big-picture data needs
  • Demonstrates strong customer service attitude and demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail
