Internship Overview

The Impetus Summer Internship Program is designed for highly motivated students who want to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. As an intern, you will work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced mentors, and contribute to impactful client engagements and internal innovation initiatives involving Generative AI, machine learning, and advanced data platforms. This program provides exposure to enterprise-scale technology solutions, structured mentorship, and opportunities to build both technical and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and data solutions
  • Support projects related to Data Engineering, Generative AI (GenAI), Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Cloud Transformation
  • Conduct research and analysis to support client solutions and internal innovation initiatives
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and proof-of-concept solutions
  • Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvement initiatives

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be:

  • Currently pursuing:
    • Bachelor’s degree (Junior year preferred), or
    • First year of a Master’s/Postgraduate program
  • Majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Maintaining a strong academic record
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Skills

  • Programming knowledge in Python, Java, SQL, or similar languages
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, machine learning concepts, or AI techniques
  • Exposure to Generative AI tools, prompt engineering, or context engineering
  • Familiarity with Knowledge Graphs, GraphRAG, or advanced retrieval techniques is a plus
  • Experience or exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is beneficial
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn in a dynamic technology environment
