Product Manager, Laboratory Automation

To support the expansion of our automation products and solutions in the US and European markets, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager who can bridge customers, product, and commercial teams.

Working Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Business Development team to engage with prospective pharmaceutical clients in the US and Europe, providing technical support throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations, technical discussions, and customized solution design.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points and challenges within chemical R&D and drug discovery workflows, accurately identifying their needs for laboratory automation products and solutions.
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of XTALPI’s laboratory automation solutions, demonstrating how they address customer challenges and improve R&D efficiency.
  • Identify and define key collaboration opportunities between XTALPI products and customer use cases, providing technical insights and recommendations to the sales team.
  • Collect and synthesize customer and market feedback to support product iteration, optimization, and roadmap planning.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in laboratory automation to inform product innovation and strategic direction.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Organic Chemistry or a closely related field.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in pharmaceutical companies or CROs, with a solid understanding of end-to-end drug discovery and development processes.
  • Strong expertise in laboratory automation, familiarity with relevant technologies, systems, or commercial products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers from diverse technical and business backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, including BD, R&D, and Marketing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think independently and propose innovative solutions.
  • Fluent professional English, both written and spoken, for international collaboration.
