Role Description: The Content Creator Intern will support brand storytelling through compelling digital content. Responsibilities include producing engaging visuals and copy, assisting in social media campaigns, and ensuring brand consistency across platforms. This internship offers hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, and brand development within a fast-paced environment.

The Ideal Candidate: A creative, detail-oriented individual with a passion for content creation, social media, and digital marketing. Strong writing, design, and trend-spotting skills are essential.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and edit engaging content (graphics, videos, captions, etc.).
  • Assist in executing content strategies for social media campaigns.
  • Research trends, hashtags, and industry insights to inform content.
  • Collaborate with teams to maintain brand voice and identity.
  • Schedule, publish, and optimize content across platforms.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and provide performance insights.

Qualifications 

  • Passion for content creation, social media, and digital storytelling.
  • Strong writing, editing, and basic design skills.
  • Familiarity with platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn) and content tools.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing and graphic design (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in content creation or digital marketing is a plus.

About Us: Slate Brands is a beauty brand incubator, providing end-to-end services to build and scale beauty brands. Our portfolio includes talent-led, white-label, and in-house brands.
Details: Our office is located in Brooklyn, NY, but this is a remote position. This is an unpaid internship with the opportunity to become a paid internship. We are looking for a minimum of 15 hours a week, and are flexible to your schedule. Candidates can receive college credit for the internship.
