Retail Sales Associate

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job description:

The role of the Luxury Retail Sales Associate at Clothes Circuit is responsible for the sales of designer and contemporary fashions in women's clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories. This position will also be responsible to maintain the front-house store operations such as open and/or closing procedures, merchandising, store readiness/cleanliness and meeting daily sales goals. This position will have strong interaction with customers to insure that each customer has a positive and enjoyable experience in our store. This position also serves as a store floater for special projects and/or store coverage for the front or back of the house as business needs require.

Hours: Part-Time and Full-Time positions available, weekends required.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Sell luxury and high end items to customers and build clientele
• Style and assist clients with their fashion requests
• Assist the store team for any retail or consignment opportunities, as needed
• Provide innovative ideas and find ways to improve sales and efficiencies
• Assist with store operations, maintaining floor, light housekeeping tasks, and overall store organization to be sure the store is running to full efficiency
• Managing clientele and develop strong relationships with our customers and consignors
• Cross training is required for various functions depending on business need

Role Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter, attention to detail, collaborative attitude, sense of urgency and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast paced sales environment
• Ability to work on a team and independently
• Strong clothing retail sales skills
• Proven sales ability to meet daily sales goals
• Luxury designer retail experience preferred
• Strong customer service background with a positive and energetic attitude
• Must be able to lift 50lbs (position requires frequent shifting and moving of inventory)

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledgeable about women's contemporary and luxury brands such as Alice + Olivia, Veronica Beard, Khaite, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Gucci and many others.
• Strong working knowledge of point of sales systems and/or inventory databases
• Understanding of women’s luxury products, pricing, and merchandising, a plus

Education & Experience: 2+ YEARS WOMEN'S FASHION RETAIL SALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, 2+ YEARS OF LUXURY RETAIL SALES PREFERRED

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience
