Attorney Recruiting Assistant

A leading international firm opportunity for a talent administrative professional candidate to join their team on a contract basis support the Summery Associate Recruiting and HR Teams.  

Candidates who apply must be available to work on a hybrid basis at law firm's Washington, DC office.

The assistant will support the legal/attorney recruiting team with creating initiatives to help attract top legal talent. The role is combination of administrative support, event planning, and coordinating interviews/gaining feedback from attorneys and summer associate applicants. This is a great opportunity to gain a wide variety of experience.  If you are law school bound, this position will also give you amazing insight into firms' summer associate programs and recruiting priorities.

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length: 3-5 months

Work week schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm, with additional hours if necessary. In office Monday – Thursday, Friday remote.

Candidate requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Prior recruiting and/or event experience in a legal, professional or academic setting, preferred

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate logistics for all Summer Program events, lunches, and meetings, both in-office and offsite, and attend as needed.
  • Manage vendor contracts for Summer Program events and route them to the Human Resources Manager for approval.
  • Oversee calendars and distribute invitations for student recruiting events.
  • Facilitate and support the collection and processing of onboarding paperwork for summer associates.
  • Provide support for Washington, DC student recruitment activities as needs arise.

  • Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft office suite, required
