Process Analyst

Process Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)

ABOUT VERTEXD

Transformation starts with understanding.

vertexD is a boutique management consulting firm specializing in human-centered transformation. We help organizations understand how work actually flows—across people, processes, and systems—before deciding what to automate, redesign, or protect.

vertexD is founder-led. You’ll work directly with our founder, who brings 20+ years of transformation experience from Deloitte Consulting, Fidelity Investments, and Citizens Bank—and throughout every engagement, not handed off to a project team. That continuity is what makes the work better.

We work with Fortune 500 clients across pharmaceuticals, healthcare, financial services, and complex operations.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Process Analyst to support high-impact client engagements with global enterprise clients. You will be in the room—on-site and remote—capturing what matters, building visualizations that make complex workflows clear, and turning raw discovery into polished deliverables that inform real decisions.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to listen, can tell signal from noise, and takes pride in making complex information look effortless. Starting as a short-term contract (15–20 hours/week), with potential for extension and full-time based on fit and engagement pipeline.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Capture stakeholder interviews and working sessions in real time—what matters, not everything—and turn raw notes into polished summaries within 24 hours

• Build process maps, swimlanes, and workflow visualizations that make complex operations clear to senior leaders

• Turn rough discovery notes into client-ready deliverables: journey maps, gap analyses, and executive-ready decks

• Manage Miro boards during live working sessions—dropping stickies, organizing information, and keeping the board clean as conversation moves fast

• Help coordinate logistics—scheduling interviews, organizing materials, tracking follow-ups

• Collaborate closely with the engagement lead on deliverables and client communication

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, communications or a related field;

• 2–5 years of experience in consulting, business analysis, operations, or a client-facing professional services role

• Sharp, disciplined note-taking—you know what’s signal versus noise, and your notes are usable by someone who wasn’t in the room

• Strong process visualization skills—swimlanes, journey maps, and workflow diagrams that look professional and are easy to follow

• Fluency in Miro, Lucidchart, Visio, or similar tools; comfortable working on a live board during a client session

• Strong written communication—clear, clean, no jargon

• Professional presence in client settings—you represent the firm

• Reliable and self-directed—you take ownership of tasks and they come back done

• Flexibility for occasional EU (CET) time zone availability for client sessions

Nice to Have

• Experience in pharma, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing environments

• Big 4 or top-tier consulting background

• Exposure to GxP, QMS, CAPA, or batch record processes

• Familiarity with BPMN notation standards

WHAT WE OFFER

• Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience

• Flexible, remote-first role with client site travel as needed (expenses covered)

• Direct exposure to Fortune 500 clients and high-impact transformation work in pharma and life sciences

• Opportunity to work closely with an experienced transformation leader on every engagement

• Potential path to full-time based on fit
