Birth Tissue Donation Specialist 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (with 6:30 AM starts based on birthing schedules)
Pay: $22.42 per hour + acquisition premiums

What You'll Do:

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with expecting mothers and hospitals staff.
  • Provide clear education about birth tissue donation and offer the option to expecting mothers.
  • Review medical records, conduct medical history screenings, and obtain consent in full compliance with HIPAA.
  • Acquire and prepare birth tissue for shipment to the processing partner.
  • Work independently and adapt to the natural unpredictability of birth schedules with professionalism and poise.

How You'll Be Challenged in This Role:

  • Building rapport quickly with expecting mothers and clearly explaining a donation opportunity that may be unfamiliar to them.
  • Identifying obstacles and collaborating with hospital staff to keep documentation and workflows running smoothly.
  • Navigating the unpredictability of the birthing process-requiring flexibility to meet with families during early mornings, varied hours, or occasional off days.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Skilled at building quick, authentic rapport with nurses and hospital staff; strong emotional intelligence is essential.
  • Able to multitask, adapt, and manage unpredictable schedules with confidence and calm.
  • Brings a background in medical or biological sciences; experience with aseptic techniques is a major plus.
