About the Role

As an Architecture and Engineering Enablement Intern, you will help document systems, support proof-of-concept efforts, and create materials that make engineering work easier and more consistent.

Matson Architecture and Engineering teams define patterns and improve how teams build and run systems. This internship provides structured learning, mentorship, and exposure to enterprise systems and design practices.

What you’ll do:

  • Document system and application designs
  • Create diagrams and reference materials
  • Support proof-of-concept work and capture results
  • Help organize and improve technical documentation
  • Collaborate with application, data, and platform teams

You have these qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field
  • Completed at least one academic term prior to internship start
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Strong writing skills and interest in systems, design, and documentation

Extra credit if you have:

  • Familiarity with basic system concepts (APIs, data flows, cloud fundamentals) through coursework or projects
  • Interest in standards, patterns, or developer productivity
