Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) – Pre-Licensed Therapist
Part-Time or Full-Time | Fully Remote | Flexible Schedule
CBT / EMDR Therapy of Manhattan (www.cbtemdrassociates.com) is seeking two motivated LMSW-level therapists who are working toward clinical licensure and looking to build hours in a supportive private practice setting. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about trauma-informed care and interested in expanding their skills in evidence-based modalities.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for therapists who want flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful clinical experience. Clinicians will provide virtual psychotherapy services to a diverse client population and have the opportunity to receive training in trauma-focused approaches.
Responsibilities
Provide individual psychotherapy via telehealth
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Utilize evidence-based practices, including CBT
Participate in training and consultation related to EMDR and trauma therapies
Manage own schedule and caseload
Qualifications
Master of Social Work (MSW) degree required
Working toward clinical licensure (e.g., LMSW, LSW, or equivalent depending on state)
Experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) preferred
Experience working with LGBTQ+ populations preferred
Strong interest in trauma-informed care and EMDR training
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong clinical judgment and ethical practice
