Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site intern position located in Sugar Land, TX. The Economic Research Intern will assist with economic and statistical research by cleaning and analyzing data in wage and hour matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing data and creating standardized datasets, learning how to conduct different wage and hour analyses, producing damage exposure models for clients, and supporting the overall objectives of the research team.
Qualities and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Economic Research and Economics-related concepts
- Strong Analytical Skills to handle data and interpret statistical findings
- Excellent organizational and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a professional, team-oriented office environment
- Proficiency in statistical tools (e.g., STATA, Excel, R, or similar software) is a plus
- Strong verbal Communication skills for presenting research findings
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or a related field
