Position Overview

The DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) at Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for a full-time Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Anatomy for the new Orange Park, Florida campus.

The successful candidate will contribute to the medical education of osteopathic medical students by teaching human anatomy and/or histology within an integrated medical curriculum. Faculty members are expected to support the mission of the University through teaching, scholarly activity, and service.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing medical education program and help shape the development of a new campus dedicated to training the next generation of physicians.

Key Responsibilities

Teach medical gross anatomy and/or histology in the osteopathic medical curriculum

Participate in laboratory instruction and student assessment

Support innovative educational delivery methods including electronic, virtual, or augmented reality teaching tools

Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement

Engage in scholarly activity and professional development

Provide academic mentoring and advising for medical students

Contribute to service activities within the department, college, and university

Required Qualifications

PhD in Anatomy or closely related field

Demonstrated commitment to teaching and academic excellence

Ability to contribute to an integrated medical curriculum

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching medical anatomy and/or histology

Experience working in medical or health sciences education

Experience using virtual anatomy tools, digital teaching platforms, or augmented reality instruction
