College Guidance Counselor
Pioneer Academy is seeking a highly effective College Guidance Counselor with 2-3 years of relevant experience for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Advising students and families on college selection, admissions requirements, and application strategies
- Assisting with personal statements, essays, résumés, and interview preparation
- Writing letters of recommendation and coordinating supporting documents
- Guiding students on standardized testing, academic course selection, and extracurricular planning
- Organizing college fairs, campus visits, and informational workshops
- Monitoring application deadlines, scholarship opportunities, and financial aid processes
- Maintaining relationships with college admissions representatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree
- 2 years of teaching experience
- NJ teaching certificate preferred but not required

Salary range:
$60,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience.
