Event Specialist & Driver (Part-Time, Seasonal)

Job Description

Kona Ice of Marietta is seeking energetic, dependable team members to operate our mobile shaved ice truck at community festivals, school fundraisers, sporting tournaments, and private events throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley.

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role ideal for students looking for flexible, event-based work and real-world small business experience.

Responsibilities

Drive the Kona Ice truck to scheduled events (18+ required for insurance)

Serve customers efficiently and professionally

Handle cash and card transactions

Set up and tear down equipment

Maintain a clean and organized truck

Represent the brand in a positive, high-energy manner

Engage with customers and create a fun event atmosphere

Pay & Benefits

$15/hour during training

$18/hour after training

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Available at least 2 weekends per month

Comfortable working outdoors in summer conditions

Strong communication skills
