Salary: $135,000 – $150,000 annually (depending on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 1–5 years of litigation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills, the ability to manage multiple assignments, and an interest in developing litigation and client management experience across several practice areas. Associates work closely with partners and senior attorneys on active matters and have opportunities for increasing responsibility as they grow with the firm.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda regarding complex legal issues
- Assist in the preparation of motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
- Draft correspondence, briefs, and other litigation-related documents
- Participate in case strategy discussions with partners and litigation teams
- Assist with all phases of discovery, including document review, written discovery, and depositions
- Attend client meetings, depositions, mediations, and court hearings as opportunities arise
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts as directed by supervising attorneys
- Work closely with partners and associates on active matters across multiple practice areas
- Support trial preparation, including exhibit preparation, witness coordination, and legal research
- Maintain organized case files and assist with case management and deadlines
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the CA Bar
- 1–5 years of litigation experience preferred
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Professional communication skills and attention to detail
