Clinical Orthopaedic Specialist

ēlizur is a musculoskeletal healthcare company that partners directly with orthopaedic practices to support patient care within the clinic setting. Our clinical specialists works directly inside clinics alongside physicians and care teams to help patients receive appropriate musculoskeletal support solutions (DME) and education during their visit.

We are seeking a Clinical Orthopaedic Specialist to join our team in State College, PA.

This is a full-time W2 position with benefits and an opportunity to work closely with physicians and patients in a fast-paced orthopaedic environment.

Position Overview

The Clinical Specialist will assist with measuring, fitting, and educating patients on physician-directed musculoskeletal support products including orthopaedic braces, fracture care supports, spine bracing systems, and bone growth stimulators. This is a patient-facing clinical role focused on improving patient experience and supporting clinic workflow.

The position is primarily based in State College, PA, with occasional travel to nearby partner clinics when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians and clinic staff with musculoskeletal patient support needs
  • Measure and fit patients with off-the-shelf orthopaedic braces
  • Provide patient education on proper product use and care
  • Support clinic workflow and patient flow as needed
  • Complete documentation related to patient services and product distribution
  • Coordinate follow-up communication with patients when appropriate
  • Maintain professional communication with physicians, clinical staff, and patients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Background in Athletic Training, Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, or related healthcare field preferred
  • ATC, PTA, or COTA certification strongly preferred
  • 1+ year experience in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
