Marketing Assistant
About the Role
The Marketing Assistant supports Account Managers and Directors in delivering a high-quality client experience by upholding service standards and completing reactive and proactive client tasks promptly and professionally.
The main objective as a Marketing Assistant is to meet client and team needs with exceptional turnaround time to ensure we’re always providing the best experience possible.
What your success will look like
- Communicate with clients in professional manner via email/phone
- Support the AM in the coordination and execution of requests in a timely manner
- Resolve issues and problems, or complete tasks related to the client’s website, campaign or account
- Address basic client campaign and account questions
- Track all reactive client emails to ensure every client email is acknowledged before leaving for the day
- Experience in customer service, marketing, or account coordination
- Strong written communication and organization skills
- Ability to professionally correspond with both internal teams and clients
- Flexibility to support basic client needs when AMs are unavailable
Who you are and what you bring

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.

Experience
- 0-1 year, including internships. Great for recent graduates or early-career professionals.

Skills
- Effective organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple client and/or AM requests simultaneously.
- Proficient critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a client-first mindset. Ability to effectively communicate with sophisticated clientele.
- Knowledge in Scorpion’s technology suite, which includes Platform, CSX and CMS.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving approach to task management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to correctly delegate tasks to the correct Support team.
- Confidently utilize Scorpion technology to answer basic client campaign and account questions

Compensation
We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
- The base salary range is $52,000 (entry-level) - $60,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
- The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
