2026 Intern - People Data Analytics and Visualization

As a PhD Intern supporting People Analytics, you will deliver workforce insights through high-impact data storytelling for senior leaders. This is a project-based role focused on translating people data into executive-ready dashboards, visuals, and presentations that are clear, persuasive, and visually compelling—materials that help leaders make confident decisions.

 

What You’ll Do:
•    Learn our people data landscape and core workforce measures (e.g., headcount, hiring, retention, mobility, engagement) to frame meaningful insights.
•    Design and build Power BI dashboards and visual narratives that highlight trends, drivers, and actionable takeaways.
•    Create executive-level slide decks that inspire action—clean design, strong story arc, and visuals that make complex information intuitive.
•    Partner with stakeholders to understand the business question, define success, and shape outputs into decision-ready recommendations.
•    Support Employee Experience (EX) and broader workforce insights projects by identifying patterns and translating findings into compelling visuals and messages.

 

Deliverables You’ll Produce:
•    Executive-ready dashboards and visuals that clearly communicate workforce trends and implications.
•    Polished, compelling presentations that elevate insights into recommendations leaders can act on.

 

Job Qualifications

Required:
•    Pursuing a PhD or other advanced degree in Analytics, Data Science, I/O Psychology, Statistics, HR, Organizational Behavior, or a related field.
•    Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data into clear, leadership-relevant insights.
•    Exceptional visualization and communication skills—able to present data in ways that are crisp, engaging, and executive-friendly.
•    Familiarity with HR/People Analytics metrics and/or employee listening data (surveys, qualitative comments, sentiment or theme analysis).
•    Comfortable working with data (quality checks, interpretation, drawing conclusions).

 

Preferred:
•    Power BI experience (visual design, measures, data modeling) and strong PowerPoint capabilities (executive storytelling and layout/design).

 

The pay for this position is $23.00 per hour.  Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
