Clinical Services Specialist

Alaska Family Services (AFS) is searching for a Clinical Services Specialist in Palmer for the DVSA Shelter. Full-time position available to provide trauma-informed, shelter-based advocacy services through a clinical lens to improve client outcomes and strengthen staff capacity. This position plays a key role in helping families stabilize, reduce crises, build non-violent parenting and coping skills, and supports staff in managing complex trauma responses in a high-acuity shelter environment. Minimum Qualifications: Masters’ degree in behavioral health field (counseling, psychology, social work, marriage & family therapy or related discipline). Two years of clinical or clinical-adjacent experience, which may include practicum and/or internship experience. Experience working with families, trauma-impacted populations, and/or domestic violence survivors strongly preferred.
