Join Wild City as we develop engaging programs to keep NYC’s green spaces and wild coasts buzzing. We are seeking a Wildlife & STEAM Programs Intern to help us design entertaining wildlife, nature and science programs for diverse audiences. 

If you love animals and nature, this is the perfect role for you.  Learn presentation,  sales and marketing techniques that will help you excel in any career you choose. 

 

⭐ Flexible & Remote: We offer flexible volunteer schedules that fit your life. You’ll build user-centric, real-world projects that showcase your talent to our community, corporate partners and your future employers. 

⭐Under 20 hours a week is fine. We'll provide regular feedback to keep you on course and working towards an achievable goal. 

 

🌲What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Creative Content: Generate ideas and develop engaging presentations that spark curiosity about nature and wildlife.
  • Collaborative Design: Partner with our team to write scripts and create presentations aligned with specific educational goals.
  • Visual Communication: Use typography, color, and layout to make scientific concepts visually compelling.
  • Technical Execution: Utilize tools like Canva and Google Slides to build professional-grade materials.
  • Logistics & Outreach: Coordinate program schedules and manage communication with participants.
  • Impact Analysis: Review audience feedback to iterate and improve future programming.
