Part Time Student - Marketing Communications - Waterloo, IA(118582)

As a Part-Time Student - Marketing Communications for JD Engine Works located in Waterloo, IA, you will:

 

• Assist Marketing Communications Specialists and the Trade Show Coordinator with various design and administrative projects
• Edit and design communications for external-facing print and digital projects
• Project management of multiple marketing requests with varying deadlines
• Load product data into web tools: Product Catalog, the Portal, and JohnDeere.com
• Write requisitions and follow up on associated issues with purchase orders
• Perform a variety of administrative tasks for the Marketing organization

 

This position is not available to students on immigration visas. 

What Skills You Need

• Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in marketing, graphic design, digital media, public relations, or journalism/mass communication; others may apply
• Computer experience with Windows operating system
• Experience with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (including presentation development)
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with many different team members and functional areas
• Available to work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
• Available to work 35-40 hours/week during the summer

• Must be a full-time student at a local university or college
• If currently attending a community college, must be planning to pursue a 4-year degree
• Graduation date of May 2028 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

• Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, IA on a regular basis

• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Premiere Rush

$15 - $40 hourly based on published rates for business function and education level.
