Vineyard Intern - Elk Run Vineyards

Elk Run Vineyard is seeking a motivated intern to assist with seasonal vineyard operations. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in viticulture, agriculture, or gaining hands-on experience in a working vineyard.

Responsibilities may include:

• Canopy management and leaf pulling

• Trellis repair and general vineyard maintenance

• Monitoring grape development and recording vineyard observations

• Irrigation checks and basic vineyard upkeep

• Pest and disease monitoring

• Assisting with harvest activities, including grape picking and sorting

Details:

• Hours: 10–20 hours per week

• Compensation: $15 per hour (Maryland minimum wage)

• Location: Elk Run Vineyard

This position provides valuable hands-on experience in vineyard management and grape production in a family-run vineyard environment.
