Data Integration Engineer

This is a data-heavy Python role focused on integrating and validating data from a variety of online sources. Experience with Python, Pandas and Git is required. Experience with agentic coding tools is also necessary. Familiarity with Django and Postgres is preferred, as an understanding of data tables and Django models is needed. Familiarity with web scraping via browser automation is also preferred.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with a small team of developers to gather evidence of unauthorized commercial uses of music
• Quality Control reviews of evidence collection work product
• Debugging errors in automated processes and creating new processes
• Analyzing processes for efficiencies and improvements
• Generating and updating documentation for complex processes

Prior work experience as a software developer is not required, though candidates must be able to demonstrate programming proficiency. Candidates must be able to interact with agentic coding tools to produce high-quality results, and they must be able to fully understand and explain all AI-generated code. Candidates must be self-driven, creative and genuinely interested in technical problem solving.

This is a remote, contract position available for candidates with U.S. work authorization. The developer will receive a 1099 tax form. Flexible schedule, up to 30 hours per week.
