HR Talent Development Intern
Summary
The HR Talent Development Intern provides hands-on support to Webber’s Human Resources team in the planning, coordination, and delivery of training and development programs across the organization. This role provides hands-on exposure to leadership development, technical training, and learning systems within Webber—while gaining practical HR experience in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Regular Job Duties
- Assist the Talent Development team with training and development logistics, including scheduling sessions, preparing materials, coordinating room setup and catering, tracking attendance, and completing post-training follow-up.
- Support the coordination and delivery of leadership development, technical training, and internship-related programs as assigned.
- Assist with compliance training tracking, learning system updates, and basic reporting or data entry related to training initiatives.
- Support employee onboarding, training sessions, and development programs.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to support training activities.
- Maintain a responsive, professional, and service-oriented approach when interacting with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Safety comes first! Required to complete work in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner.
- Other duties (not listed) may be assigned to this job at any time.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in human resources, business administration, organizational development or a related field.
- Prior internship, campus leadership, or administrative experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Primarily office-based work environment.
- May be required to lift or move training materials or supplies (up to approximately 25 lbs).
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and work at a computer for much of the workday.
- Occasional schedule flexibility may be required to support events trainings activities.
