Sales Support & Admin Co-op

What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a motivated Co-op join our Sales Management team in Canton, MI.  The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Daily Tasks: Collaborate closely with Sales Management Leadership to drive Commercial Excellence initiatives, including but not limited to: developing and maintaining a centralized data repository, coordinating leadership forums such as the Sales Operations Forum and New Business Review, conducting automotive market research and analysis, and performing additional strategic tasks as assigned
  • Success Metrics: Execute daily operational tasks and manage special projects as required, delivering key outputs such as commercial read-across metrics, completion of mid-term planning activities, and coordination of executive-level events and reviews.
  • Collaboration: Sales Leaders from OEM business units, Corporate Planning, and Senior Executives.

 

What you will bring to the table:

  • Education: Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the Co-op period.
  • Relevant Background: Pursuing Degree in Business Administration – Finance or Marketing degree preferred.
  • Academic Standing: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Commitment: >20 hours per week
  • Technical Skills: Data analysis and analytics - excel, power BI, financial skills – understanding financial data
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
