Middle School Math/Science Teacher

Early Middle School Math/Science Teacher (5th–6th Grade)

 

Northside Christian Academy is growing and excited to announce upcoming teaching opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year. We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic teacher for sixth grade, with a focus on Math, Science, and Bible.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Effectively manage a classroom and foster a positive, orderly learning environment
  • Teach with excellence and academic rigor
  • Build strong relationships with students and their families
  • Create an engaging, biblically integrated learning environment

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the field, with educational training
  • Teaching experience strongly preferred
  • A degree in elementary or middle grades education is preferred
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain ACSI certification
  • Demonstrated excellence in planning, teamwork, communication, and work ethic

  • Are in full agreement with the philosophies, Statements of Faith, and Statements of Christian Living of Northside Christian Academy/Northside Baptist Church
  • Sense a clear calling from God into Christian education
  • Demonstrate commitment to Christian schooling by enrolling their eligible children at Northside Christian Academy
  • Are willing to assist with extracurricular activities and additional duties as assigned by the principal
