Esperanza Academy Charter School is currently accepting applications for Elementary School Teaching Assistants for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year at our elementary school building. This role is an integral part of the elementary instructional team. Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in maximizing learning opportunities for students. They actively support teachers by handling classroom administrative duties, working with small groups of students, and contributing to overall student achievement. Our teaching assistants are known for being effective team players, reliable, and proactive in their approach to supporting the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a positive, rigorous, and joyful classroom environment that promotes student learning and engagement.
• Engage with support staff, including counselors, social workers, and special education teams, to address the whole child, ensuring every student has the support necessary to succeed.
• Regularly analyze student data to refine instruction and interventions to ensure all students meet academic benchmarks.
• Foster open, positive, and consistent communication with parents to build strong partnerships that support student success.

• An Associate's degree from an accredited college or university (Official transcripts showing the degree conferred are required before the starting date of employment.)
• Clearances: All applicants must have current FBI, PA Criminal, and Child Abuse background checks.
• Spanish fluency is preferred but not required.
