Combined Middle School Teacher

The Garden School of Marietta is seeking a teacher for our combined middle school class. The Class Teacher is responsible for providing a Waldorf-inspired, comprehensive education program for students in a manner that nurtures and guides them according to the needs of each child and the class community as a whole. 

A four-year degree is required, and the ideal candidate has teaching experience and an understanding of the Waldorf pedagogy, although we will consider otherwise qualified candidates. We welcome creative and enthusiastic individuals who are willing to explore and implement the Waldorf philosophy and methods while working with a supportive team of colleagues and an engaged community.

Hours: 

Full time: Monday - Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; includes faculty and community events

Salary range:  $41,000 - $46,000
