Our interns partner with teams across EchoStar working to drive our latest game-changing innovation. Our internship is a 10 week, in-person experience that is paid hourly with eligible overtime. Interns are given a business project(s) to complete over the summer and present their results to leadership and their peers. EchoStar provides each intern with a manager to support them with the execution of their project.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst Intern - Customer Experience to support the Boost Mobile CXO team, you will dive into the world of Customer Experience (CX) and call center operations. You won’t just be crunching numbers; you’ll be helping us figure out why customers call us and how we can make their experience seamless. This role is perfect for a student who is curious about how data drives business decisions in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting: Help maintain and update dashboards used by leadership to track call center performance
- Data Exploration: Support the team in researching specific customer-impacting issues by querying large datasets to find trends
- Operational Support: Leverage big data and AI tools to assess how business changes impact call volumes and agent workflows
- Advance: Participate in development of new NLP based AI tools that enhance our understanding of call center operations
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- GPA 3.3 or above
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a related field of study
- Must have 60 credit hours completed by May 2026
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong interest in Customer Experience (CX) and telecommunications.
- Fundamental SQL: Ability to write basic queries (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE) to pull data from databases
- Analytical Curiosity: An interest in using AI tools or basic text-mining to categorize customer feedback and chat transcripts
- Communication: Ability to take complex data and turn it into a clear, simple slide or summary
- Detail-Oriented: A "detective" mindset—you enjoy digging into the "why" behind the data

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $18.00/Hour - $24.00/Hour
