Robert Half is hiring on behalf of our client for Financial Crimes Compliance Analyst roles supporting a large banking initiative in the Chicago area.

💼 Position: Financial Crimes Compliance Analyst
💰Pay: $23/hr
📅Start Date: April 20, 2026. Duration of Assignment: Through April 2027, possible extension beyond that
📍Location: Chicago area (fully onsite)- West Loop
🕒Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
This role focuses on protecting the integrity of the financial system by reviewing and investigating transaction alerts for potential money laundering or suspicious activity.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct investigations on alerts generated from transaction monitoring systems
• Analyze client transactional activity for suspicious patterns
• Follow up on flagged transactions and perform due diligence
• Document findings clearly for review by senior compliance teams
• Support customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes
• Maintain awareness of AML regulations and compliance standards
• Work collaboratively with compliance and technology teams
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting, Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, or related field preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a production environment with KPI metrics
• Comfortable working across multiple systems and applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Hiring Process
