We are seeking an enthusiastic Robotics Instructor to lead an engaging afterschool enrichment program for elementary school students in Richmond, CA. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy technology, engineering, and working with children in a hands-on learning environment.
Position Details
- Location: Richmond, CA
- Schedule: Once per week
- Hours: 2–3 hours per week
- Program Duration: 10-week afterschool program
- Student Age Group: Elementary school students
Responsibilities
- Lead fun, hands-on robotics activities and projects
- Introduce students to basic robotics and engineering concepts
- Encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving
- Maintain a positive and structured learning environment
- Arrive on time and communicate with program staff as needed
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of robotics, engineering, or STEM-related subjects
- Experience working with children preferred (teaching, tutoring, camps, etc.)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to pass a background check
