Summer Investment Intern
ABOUT LOGIQ CAPITAL
LOGIQ Capital is a New York-based family office focused on long-term, fundamental equity investing across public markets. We manage a concentrated portfolio spanning technology, industrials, healthcare, and specialty sectors, with a particular emphasis on semiconductor and AI infrastructure. Our investment process is research-driven and data-intensive, with a growing focus on systematizing and automating how we source, analyze, and monitor investments.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated sophomore with a technical background and a genuine interest in finance to join us for the summer. You will work directly with the investment team on equity research, financial modeling, and building tools that improve how we analyze our portfolio. This is a hands-on role — you will be expected to own projects end-to-end, not just support them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Equity Research
Build and populate standardized financial models (income statement, cash flow, balance sheet) for portfolio companies and new names across our coverage universe
Investment Memos
Write structured investment memos summarizing business model, competitive positioning, growth drivers, risks, and key debates; sourcing from broker research and earnings transcripts
Portfolio Analytics
Run quantitative analysis on the portfolio — position sizing, sector exposures, correlation, and performance attribution; flag concentration and thesis overlap
Data & Automation
Build Python scripts or lightweight tools to automate repetitive research tasks: parsing filings, pulling market data, summarizing documents, generating formatted outputs
Visualizations
Create clear, professional charts and dashboards that communicate portfolio and market data; output for use in internal investment reviews
Ongoing Coverage
Track earnings releases, news, and management commentary for covered names; maintain up-to-date model assumptions and flag material changes

- Familiarity with pandas, matplotlib, or data visualization libraries

WHAT YOU WILL GET
- Direct exposure to the full investment process — from initial research to portfolio-level decision making
- Mentorship from an experienced investment team with deep sector expertise
- Experience building real, institutionally-standard financial models and investment memos used in live portfolio decisions
