Marketing & Social Media Intern

Visit Lake Oconee is the official destination marketing organization for Greene County, GA, promoting outdoor recreation, dining, events, and travel experiences around Lake Oconee.

We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing & Social Media Intern to assist with content creation, social media strategy, and tourism promotion.

Responsibilities

Assist with creating Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook content

Capture photo and video content at local businesses and events

Research travel trends, influencers, and media outlets

Help plan and schedule social media posts

Assist with blog posts and website updates

Support special events and community promotions

Ideal Candidate

Student studying marketing, communications, journalism, tourism, or related field

Strong interest in social media and storytelling

Comfortable taking photos/video with a phone

Organized and creative

10 hours per week - starting late May - mid August
