Music Teacher Position Available

The Garden School of Marietta is seeking an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Music Teacher. Our ideal candidate is familiar with the Waldorf philosophy and its teaching methods and has relevant teaching experience.

The Music Teacher fosters community, musicianship, and a love of music among our students. Responsibilities include planning and teaching music classes, directing music for festivals and school events, and collaborating with class teachers to support musical elements in class plays. Knowledge of Waldorf education and pedagogy, or a willingness to participate in Waldorf training, is preferred.

Hours:
Two days per week. Hours will depend on the number of periods scheduled.

  • Grades 1–8: twice per week, approximately 4 hours per day

Pay Rate:
$35–$45 per hour, based on training and experience.
