Entertainment Market Research Internship

ERm Research is seeking an entertainment market research intern. This is a paid internship and you’ll be expected to spend at least 14 hours a week on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday in-person at our offices in Manhattan.

Who We Are:

ERm Research is a custom research and marketing consulting company, specializing in analyzing consumer feedback within the movie, theater, tourism, and sports industries. We use methodologies like intercept surveys, online testing, and focus groups to help our clients understand their audiences at every possible stage, from inception to market.

Who You Are:

You are fascinated by the film, theater, tourism, or sports industries, and you want to learn more about how research is utilized to inform decisions within these spaces. You are someone with an impressive attention to detail, both in writing and presentation. You're a strong PowerPoint and Excel user and interested in becoming an expert. You’re an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll join a small team, which will allow you to learn about every facet of our operation. Most of the time, you’ll be proofreading numbers or text for the reports that we write. You’ll learn how to weave open-ended responses into concrete categories that help us tell a story. You’ll watch movies early in the production process and assist in event day logistics for our various projects. We’re also very open to interns working up to larger tasks and responsibilities.
