Location: NYC
Duration: 3 months (Summer)
Compensation: $4.5K stipend + performance bonuses

WeLikeSports is a social platform for sports pools and games — March Madness brackets, survivor pools, squares, and pick’em. We make it easy to create pools, invite friends, track standings live, and compete for bragging rights with a modern, game-ified experience.

We’re building the future of how friends compete around sports.

This summer, we’re hiring a small group of Growth Interns to help us expand on major sports campuses and build the go-to-market for football season.

 

The Role

You’ll be running real campaigns, managing people, and driving measurable growth.

Your job is to work with a small cohort of interns to develop and implement an effective college Go-To-Market program. This is a collaborative program - you are expected to work as a team. The internship program will consist of three phases:

  1. User discovery & product research:
    1. Source real users or potential users, get feedback on the product, and work with the team to understand and incorporate that feedback into the product.
    2. You will work closely with the team to create a systematic method for sourcing feedback. This is a priority of the company.
  2. Design a go-to-market strategy:
    1. Using the feedback you’ve collected, let your creativity shine. We are a startup and are looking for creative and resourceful individuals to design a program that will maximize reach leading into the football season.
    2. The strategy should be measurable and actionable.
  3. Implement the go-to-market strategy:
    1. Work as a team to implement this strategy, we value “do-ers” not just “say-ers”, here is your chance to prove that your ideas make sense.

  • Comfortable approaching groups and pitching ideas
  • Involved in sports culture (fantasy, pools, tailgates, etc.)
  • Leadership experience in clubs, Greek life, or athletics is a plus
  • Self-starter energy — no micromanaging
  • Experience with AI tooling is a huge plus
