Project Engineer (Internship)

Job Description:

Internship position for INNOVO which will allow each candidate to learn all areas of Commercial Construction in the Glass and Glazing Industry. The duration of the Internship Program is approximately 12 weeks with an expectation of 40 hours of work per week.  This position will prepare the candidate for a career path in the Glass and Glazing Industry. 

Your job responsibilities as an Intern may include the following: 

A. Assist Estimator to: 

1) Download RFP documents. 

2) Review architectural drawings & specifications. 

3) Prepare takeoffs. 

4) Obtain quotes for materials and ensure vendors scope compliance. 

5) Attend jobsite walkthroughs. 

6) Prepare proposals and coordinate with client. 

B. Assist Project Managers (as required) to: 

1) Prepare submittal logs and submittals. 

2) Prepare and/or check glass orders. 

3) Prepare aluminum stock length orders. 

4) Review and compare ASIs, Bulletins, and Addendums. 

5) Submit closeout documents and warranties. 

6) Jobsite visits for construction progress reports. 

7) Material deliveries.
