Business Solutions Manager

We’re seeking a driven, personable, and tech-curious Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for business owners exploring automation and AI solutions. You’ll educate prospects on Kantara’s value to their business, qualify leads, and help them take the first step toward modernizing their business operations. This is a 1099 commision based job and an opportunity to play a key role in a rapidly growing AI startup that sits at the intersection of sales, technology, and business transformation. You’ll be working directly with our leadership team to refine outreach strategies and build long-term relationships with small businesses nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to small and mid-sized business owners across industries such as hospitality, trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), retail, and professional services, manufacturing, and more.
  • Qualify leads and manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through to partnership sign-up.
  • Present Kantara’s brokerage model and explain how our solutions can help clients automate accounting, scheduling, payroll, inventory, and communications.
  • Track and report on performance metrics (lead volume, conversions, and retention).
  • Attend virtual networking events, webinars, and trade discussions to promote Kantara’s mission and expand reach.
  • Provide feedback on client pain points to help improve marketing and product offerings.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of sales experience preferred (cold-calling, door-to-door, B2B).
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly, confident, and outgoing personality.
  • A genuine interest in and understanding of small business operations and technology.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts (AI, automation, etc.) in simple, relatable terms to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets through disciplined follow-up and value-based selling.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in selling to small business owners or local service providers.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, SaaS tools, or workflow automation.
  • Network in small business communities or local chambers of commerce.
  • Previous experience with startup environments or early-stage sales teams.
