Role Description

The Client Success Associate is a high-touch, strategic role for a professional with a passion for technology and the built environment. This is not a traditional "success" position; you will serve as the primary advisor and concierge for our member firms. Your core focus will be to ensure they maximize the value of their membership through strategic onboarding, effective event participation, and aligning our technical resources with their specific business goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Onboarding: Lead new member firms through a comprehensive onboarding process. You will help them navigate our research portal, set up user licenses, and align their specific business goals with our Research Tracks (e.g., AI/ML, Robotics, Building Tech).

Event Concierge & Integration: Act as the lead point of contact for member participation in BuiltWorlds summits and forums. This includes managing registrations, facilitating "Know Before You Go" sessions, and ensuring members are effectively integrated into networking circles and breakout sessions.

Renewal Management: Own the full renewal lifecycle for your portfolio of accounts. You will conduct regular "member health" check-ins to ensure consistent engagement and demonstrate the ROI of their participation throughout the year.

Membership Expansion & Upgrades: Identify opportunities to grow member accounts. You will recognize when a firm’s technological maturity or team size has outgrown their current tier and lead the process of upgrading them to higher-level enterprise or strategic memberships.

Industry Advocacy: Act as a "translator" between member needs and our internal Research and Programming teams. Use your background to provide feedback on which emerging technologies are resonating in the field.

 

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

● 1–3 years of experience in a professional environment

● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be comfortable presenting to and advising executives and innovation leaders.

● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple event registrations, renewal dates, and onboarding schedules simultaneously.

● A strong aptitude for technology, capable of understanding and articulating complex topics and aligning them with a member's business goals.

● Business acumen with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset focused on identifying and securing membership expansion opportunities.

 

Additional Qualifications that are a Plus:

● Knowledge of or experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry ● Experience working with CRM systems such as HubSpot

● Experience working with WordPress

● Experience working in digital-first and/or startup companies.
