If you believe summer camp builds real-world skills, know that dressing like a pirate is sometimes a leadership requirement, and think s’mores qualify as both science and art … we are looking for you.

North Star Reach provides life-changing camp experiences for children with serious health challenges and their families, free of charge. North Star Reach program volunteers are positive, caring adult role models focused on putting our kids and families first. Our widely diverse staff of amazing volunteers bring a wealth of worldly experience with them (volunteers must be at least 18 years of age).

 

Our 2026 North Star Reach Programming consists of:

  • North Star Reach Family Camp Weekend: Friday–Sunday, May 1-3
  • North Star Reach Resident Summer Camp: Friday–Friday, June 12-19
  • North Star Reach Resident Summer Camp: Friday–Friday, June 26-July 3
  • North Star Reach Family Camp Weekend: Friday–Sunday, September 11-13
  • North Star Reach Family Camp Weekend: Friday–Sunday, October 9-11
  • North Star Reach Family Camp Weekend: Friday–Sunday, October 23-25
