Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineering Management Program Associate - US Rotational
AMETEK believes in developing its leaders from within. As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineering Management Program Associate, you will be part of a small and select group of college students chosen each year for this special program. During the 3-year program, you will receive fully paid relocation to a US-based AMETEK business at the start of each rotation (July of each year). The goal of the rotational program is to expose you to new technologies, new customers, strong leaders, and brilliant engineers to fast-track your engineering career within AMETEK.
AMETEK’s AI Engineering Management Program is designed for engineers interested in applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to real world products and systems. As an AMETEK AI Engineering Management Associate, you will have the opportunity to participate in three 1-year rotational assignments.
ROLE EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our AI Engineering Management Program is designed to build technical depth and business awareness. Throughout your assignments, you will work with engineering teams, domain experts, and cross functional partners to solve meaningful business problems, including:
- Applying artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to product and engineering workflows
- Supporting development of AI enabled product features such as data interpretation, calibration assistance, diagnostics, or workflow guidance
- Working with scientific and engineering data (e.g., signals, spectra, images, logs) under guidance of experienced engineers
- Participating in cross functional project teams with colleagues in R&D, Systems Engineering, Service, Operations, Marketing, and Sales
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives that impact product performance, usability, quality, or service efficiency
- Presenting technical work, lessons learned, and recommendations to engineering leadership and peers
Assignments are structured to balance hands-on technical execution with exposure to AMETEK’s broader engineering and business environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3.0 grade point average
- Graduation date between December 2025 and July 2026
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Physics or related technical discipline. A Master's or high-level degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in applying AI/ML to engineering and product-based problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and adaptable to new situations
- Ability to work both independently and as a team contributor
- Willingness and ability to relocate for rotational assignments
