Position Overview

The Intervention Specialist provides individualized educational programming aligned with each student’s IEP and FCA-developed Individualized Program Plan. This role works closely with families, therapists, and other staff members to support students’ academic, social, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement IEPs and individualized program plans
  • Develop lesson plans aligned with Ohio Learning and Extended Standards
  • Collect data on IEP and FCA goals and maintain student portfolios
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and fellow educators
  • Communicate regularly with parents and professional staff
  • Participate in progress reporting and IEP development, as appropriate
  • Complete required documentation and attend professional development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
  • Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist teaching license
  • Experience with students with autism preferred
  • Strong collaboration, flexibility, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: Starting at $40,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
