Footprints Center for Autism (FCA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing individualized, relationship-centered educational programming for students with autism. We are a small, collaborative team that values flexibility, professionalism, and truly knowing our students.

Position Overview
The Intervention Specialist provides individualized educational programming aligned with each student’s IEP and FCA-developed Individualized Program Plan. This role works closely with families, therapists, and other staff members to support students’ academic, social, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement IEPs and individualized program plans
- Develop lesson plans aligned with Ohio Learning and Extended Standards
- Collect data on IEP and FCA goals and maintain student portfolios
- Collaborate with clinical staff and fellow educators
- Communicate regularly with parents and professional staff
- Participate in progress reporting and IEP development, as appropriate
- Complete required documentation and attend professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist teaching license
- Experience with students with autism preferred
- Strong collaboration, flexibility, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Starting at $40,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
