Full-Stack Engineer (AI Music Product)

Cheerful Music is a technology-driven music company exploring the intersection of AI and music creation. We are building a next-generation AI music platform that integrates generative music models with our proprietary music catalog, enabling users to generate, manage, and commercialize music through a web-based creative interface.

We are looking for a full-stack engineer who can independently design and build a product including both the backend system and the user-facing web application.

Responsibilities Full-Stack Product Development

Design and develop a web-based AI music generation platform

Build both frontend user interfaces and backend infrastructure

Implement product features such as:

text-to-music generation

audio preview and playback

project management

music asset libraries

AI Model Integration

Integrate third-party music generation APIs (e.g., Suno or similar services)

Build systems to control generation parameters such as style, mood, tempo, and structure

Music Data & Asset Management

Develop systems to manage proprietary music catalogs, stems, samples, and audio assets

Implement metadata and tagging systems (genre, BPM, mood, use cases)

AI Workflow Design

Build pipelines from input → generation → preview → selection → export

Support internal teams including A&R, producers, and copyright teams

Technical Requirements

Strong full-stack engineering skills

Proficiency in Python (backend development)

Experience building web applications (frontend + backend)

Experience integrating third-party APIs

Understanding of machine learning / generative AI basics

Ability to independently build and ship production systems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI music tools such as Suno, Stable Audio, MusicLM, or similar

Experience with audio processing or music technology

Experience building AI products or creative tools

Strong interest in music, creativity, and AI-generated content
