Full-Stack Product Engineering Intern
Overview
We’re looking for a product-minded engineer to work across our Web Platform and PowerPoint Add-in, the two surfaces that bankers and consultants use most. You’ll ship UI/UX improvements, harden core workflows, and contribute to the API layer that powers logo delivery at scale. This is a hands-on role where your code ships to production. We do not care what your degree is in, what previous experience you might have, or what your future career ambitions are focused on. As long as you're interested, personable, and able to ‘just figure things out’, we'd love to have you. This role is unpaid to start. However, based on performance and interest, an equity package, deal commission %, and more are absolutely on the table. We would prefer for this to be a hybrid position in NYC, but will happily extend fully remote for the right candidate. Familiarity and competency in AI-coding tools such as Claude Code CLI, Codex CLI, and the like is a must. We do not have a minimum or maximum length of the internship and this can be addressed ad hoc.
Examples of What You’d Work On
Web Platform
- Grid and layout UX polish via improving drag, resize, snap, and spacing controls
- List workflow enhancements: save, import, reorder, and bulk-edit logo collections
- Export quality improvements for PowerPoint (PPTX) output fidelity
PowerPoint Add-in
- Insertion flow refinements: single-logo and multi-logo layout templates
- Reliability fixes for auth edge cases, iframe communication, and token refresh
- Consistent sizing, spacing, and ordering across slide contexts
API & Backend
- Contribute to the Logo APIaaS: endpoint reliability, transformation parameters, caching behavior
- Support backend improvements around rate limiting, quota enforcement, and search indexing
Analytics & QA
- Instrument key flows with PostHog: search, insert, export funnels and conversion events
- Expand test coverage on high-churn paths using Vitest/Jest and React Testing Library
Must-Have Skills
- React + TypeScript: comfortable reading and writing hooks-heavy component code
- Practical frontend debugging: network tab, state inspection, race condition diagnosis
- REST API fluency: comfortable working with endpoints, auth flows, cookies vs. bearer tokens
- Strong product sense: you care about UI polish, edge cases, and user-facing quality
Nice-to-Have
- Office.js experience
- Familiarity with pptxgenjs or similar PowerPoint generation libraries
- Testing experience with Vitest/Jest + React Testing Library
- Exposure to PostHog, Mixpanel, or similar product analytics platforms
