Growth and BizDev Intern

Overview

We need pipeline. This role is about building relationships with bankers, consultants, and corporate strategy teams by understanding their deck-production pain and showing them how Quikturn eliminates it. You’ll run targeted outreach, qualify leads, book demos, and translate customer feedback into product insights. This is a high-impact, founder-adjacent role. We do not care what your degree is in, what previous experience you might have, or what your future career ambitions are focused on. As long as you're interested, personable, and able to ‘just figure things out’, we'd love to have you. This role is unpaid to start. However, based on performance and interest, an equity package, deal commission %, and more are absolutely on the table. We would prefer for this to be a hybrid position in NYC, but will happily extend fully remote for the right candidate. We do not have a minimum or maximum length of the internship and this can be addressed ad hoc.

 

What You’ll Work On

Outreach & Pipeline

  • Build targeted prospect lists of IB analysts, consultants, corp dev teams, slide agencies, and API users
  • Execute high-volume outreach via cold email and LinkedIn. Test messaging, iterate, and find what converts
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads; book product demos for the founder

Voice of Customer

  • Conduct discovery calls and collect structured feedback from prospects and early users
  • Translate pain points and feature requests into actionable product tickets
  • Identify common objections and refine positioning accordingly

Enablement & Content

  • Create lightweight sales collateral: one-pagers, demo scripts, use-case studies
  • Build and maintain a target-firm database with prioritization rationale
  • Develop partnership outreach for boutique banks, consulting shops, and slide production agencies

Must-Have Skills

  • Clear, concise writing and comfort with high-volume professional outreach
  • Fast learner on finance workflows: logo slides, tombstones, comps pages, deal/pitch decks
  • Data and CRM Automation: experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, n8n, Apollo, PitchBook, or similar. Really comes down to being able to automate and establish workflows.

Nice-to-Have

  • Prior internship in investment banking, consulting, finance, ops, leadership
  • Basic understanding of deck production workflows and PowerPoint fluency
  • Light analytics chops: tracking response rates, funnel conversion, A/B test results
