Equipment Operator / Project Manager

Must have a Truck, access to a Bob Cat or Front Loader and at least one helper, Per diem is offered for travelling installs and room is paid for.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery such as Bobcats, front loaders, sod cutters, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on job sites or within our facilities.
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and Installation.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, OEM manuals, execute repairs with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering as needed.
- Conduct fabrication tasks such as welding, assembly, and modifications to equipment or structural components to meet project specifications.
- Maintain detailed service records for all repairs and maintenance activities; interpret schematics for troubleshooting systems.
- heavy lifting operations, earthwork alignment procedures, Plumbing and HVAC systems, repairs to maximize operational uptime.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety standards; participate in safety audits and training sessions regularly.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment including, bobcats, front loader, sod cutters, excavators, cranes (including mobile cranes), forklifts, and other industrial machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience, hydraulics, waterworks systems, electrical diagnostics, and welding.
- Familiarity with OEM parts catalogs and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and assembly; capable of using power tools effectively for repairs or modifications.
- Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC systems in industrial settings; ability to read schematics and perform electrical repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members; strong attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions; proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for repair work.
