Part-Time Accountant

A college degree isn’t required, but classwork in general business, accounting, and finance would be considered if experience is limited. Key expectations are:

• Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
• Strong technology skills (especially Microsoft applications, including MS Business Central and Excel)
• Accounting concepts and principles (integrity, confidentiality, accuracy)
• Internal/External Customer Support

Primary Responsibilities:

• AP: Enter invoices into MSBC (Microsoft Business Central), download into weekly AP report, initiate ACH payments, send remits, and post payments into MSBC.
• AR: Post ACH customer payments and check payments, as needed.
• Payroll: Prepare pay in payroll system and post payroll report for JE (Journal Entry); Fidelity Funding.
• Review company credit card transactions and compare to receipts and invoices.
• Charge customer credit cards in system, review web order automatic customer payments, and post payments in MSBC.
• Bank reconciliation.
